HAPPY THANKSGIVING

I hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving! Make sure everyone remembers the Christmas party @ my house from 7-10 on Friday Dec 5th. We are picking secret sisters on Mon @ dance. Please bring a present for your secret sister to the party. We decided to do Pajama pants, or Slippers, or cute socks. Please don't spend alot of money. Susie's Deals has very cheap stuff. (10400 Redwood Rd. next to Roberts) I will send home secret sister info on Mon.

SHOES

Here are the shoes you need to buy for your daughters recital.

JAZZ- Footundeez, nude color. (buy at any dance shoe store.)
LYRICAL- Footundeez. Same as Jazz
HIP HOP-Jr. Co - any plain white tennis shoes.
Extreme Elite and Jr. Elite - any plain white tennis shoes.
Sr. Co. and Sr. Elite - High top Black Converse.

You also need to buy nude colored, non shiny capri tights. (Capezio)

You can find the Black Converse @ Target in Men and Boys, or Famous Footwear has them. You can also find them on Piperlime.com just put in converse.

DON'T FORGET DADS DANCE THIS SAT. @ 10-11!!!!!

All the girls have an extra practice Saturday Nov. 22nd just after the dads practice. From 11-1.

I hope you all had a Happy Halloween. We are doing both a Mom's dance, and a Dad's dance this year! Here is the practice schedule:

Mom's dance practice Thursday Nov. 6th, 13th, and 20th 9:30-10:30 p.m.
Dad's dance practice Saturday Nov. 15th and the 22nd 10-11 a.m.

No dance Thanksgiving weekend Nov. 27th and the 28th

Parents you can come record your daughter's dances this week the last 15 min. of class. This really helps!!!!

December schedule as follows:

December 1st Mon. ALL girls practice at the studio from 4:30-7:00
December 2nd Tues. ALL girls practice at the studio from 4:30-7:00
December 3rd Wed. ALL- DRESS REHEARSAL at Hunter High School from 6:30-8:00
December 4th Thurs. RECITAL at Hunter High School. Be there at 6:00 with hair and makeup done. Show starts at 7:00-8:30
December 5th Christmas Party at my house from 7-10 p.m.

December tuition is only $25 we will resume classes Jan. 5th.

Yay, we finally have a date. December 4th from 7:00-8:30 @ Hunter High School. (girls arrive 45 min early.) Come with hair and makeup done. More info on hair and makeup in November newsletter. Our dress rehearsal is December 3rd from 6:30-8:00 @ Hunter High School. We are doing our Dads dance this year. Practice will be on Nov. 15th and the 22nd from 10:00 -11:00 a.m. Please come and participate it will be easy and FUN!!!!

HAIR, MAKEUP
Yes both please get dolled up don't come with recess hair!!!!! haha

BE ON TIME
We will not have alot of daylight, so be prompt and prepared.

October 14th

Parents we are not having Flexibility, and Tumbling this Friday Oct. 17th, due to Fall recess alot of you are going to be out of town. I sent home practice uniforms, some leotards are on back order. I will send them home when they arrive. Parents PLEASE check the blog the first of the month, and the 14th. If there is not a post on the 14th there is no info at that particular time. Also no dance on Halloween. And their is pictures this month read below. Thanks Taralee

We are changing Flexibility on Fridays to 3:30-4:30 due to the enormous turn out in tumbling.Tumbling times will be as follows Tumbling A 4:30-5:15, Tumbling B 5:15-6:00. FUNDRAISER TIME
We are starting a Fundraiser starting Oct. 13th. Due Oct 30th. We are doing the Little Ceasar Pizza Kits. Debra the lady who does the kits says they are doing great this year. You recieve $5 a kit, the first 5 kits go to the studio the rest to the girls.
We are doing a Mom and a Dad dance this year at the recital practices in Nov. We will keep you posted. It is going to be so much fun so Mommys and Daddys put on your dancing shoes.

CRUISE ANYONE?
Michelle is talking to a travel agent we will have a meeting in November with all the exciting info.

CLASS ATTIRE
We are getting practice uniforms (Jr. Co is not but you can order them, just let me know)
I will not allow street clothes to dance, no sweats, t shirts, long sleeved shirts. You must come in leotards, hot pants, jazz pants. For Ballet- leotard and tights, ballet shoes, hair pulled back. I will not except hair down for practice it must be pulled up. I will be selling all sorts of dance clothes at a discount price if you need some.

CLASS OBSERVATION
We are going to let parents come and observe only the first day of each month so you can see what we are doing, and so we can show you what your daughter specifically needs to practice.
If you are disturbing the class we will ask you to leave.

PRACTICE
I expect your daughter to practice 30 minutes daily. If she does not she can be removed from a routine.

INSTALLMENTS
All Installment s are due the 14th of the month

If you are not caught up by September your daughter cannot participate!

FUNDRAISER
We will be doing a few fundraisers. One specifically for our Geisha Costumes, they are not in our fees so if you dont participate you will have to pay $85. We will also be planning a trip in May we will let you know A.S.A.P where we will go. We are thinking a small cruise any ideas let us know.

I'm so excited for this year we are pushing the girls harder than we ever had!!!!!!
