Hello everyone I hope you all had a great Halloween!!!
As you all know our recital is one month away. Here is all the info needed to make this year another success.

NO DANCE WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 25th or THURSDAY NOVEMBER 26th Happy Turkey Day!

Shoes needed for the recital:
Tiny Divas - black ballet shoes
Divas - tan Footundeez
Extreme Elite - tan footundeez, black low top converse
Sr. Elite - tan footundeeez, black low or high top converse. (preferably low)

Converse can be purchased at Payless store or online, or Target store or online (boys)
Tan Footundeez can be purchased at Onstage Dancewear 4165 S. 1785 W. or any dance wear store.
Sr. Elite and Extreme Elite also need to purchase capri tan tights.

CHRISTMAS PERFORMANCES!!!! Recital, Festival of Trees

We have our recital date:) Saturday December 5th at 2:00p.m.-3:00p.m. @ Eastmont Middle School. dancers need to be there @ 1:00 completely ready.
Festival of Trees performance is Wed. Dec. 2nd @ 2:50 dancers must be there @ 1:50 completely ready. Please mark your calendars now!!!!!

DANCE THURS SEPTEMBER 24th 4:30-6:30

Dance on September 24th Thurs. Elite Co. will only be from 4:30-6:30 due to Jennifer's wedding. (Hip Hop teacher) If you want a ride let me know I will be staying til 9:00!
Everyone is invited from the studio! Please attend!!!! The reception will be held on September 24th from 6:00-8:00 dancing from 8:00-9:00. It will be @ Wheeler Farm 6351 South 900 East Salt Lake City. I'm giving her cash if you would like to go in on her gift, please let me know by Wed. Welcome back, I can't believe summer is over! It's time to put on our dancing shoes again:) I'm so excited to start our new little girls, and of course my older girls.
Please check the blog every 1st of the month, as well as the middle, there may be times where no info is needed.
I will also send monthly emails, and text messages for reminders, but all info will always be on the trusty ol blog. I will only be sending home notes when necessary.

Please fill out registration papers A.S.A.P. (These will be sent home this week.)
Tuition is due by the 10th, if money is late add a $10 late fee.
Please pay fees on time or your daughter cannot come to class. (This will be enforced.)

Practice sheets will be sent home next week, practice PLEASE!!!!! I will send home practice music , and we will have a day where you can come record the dance so they can practice at home;)
Your daughter should be doing her splits every night.

TECHNIQUE IN AUGUST CANCELLED

Due to lack of interest we will not be doing technique on thursdays in August.
We will start classes the first week of September!

The production turned out AWESOME!!!!

We will have our company picnic and parents meeting in September:)

PRODUCTION WORKSHOP MANDATORY

Just a reminder, we are having our Production Workshop July 27th-30th, 4:30-7:30, the cost is $50. This is mandatory if you want to be in the production.

PARENTS 1st installment was due June 15th $105
2nd installment is due July 15th $105
If I do not receive these payments by July 27th (the workshop) Your daughter will not be allowed to come to dance. I need these payments A.S.A.P. so we can start our costume order.

At the workshop I will measure the girls for costumes, and send home a flyer with important info for the year.

I won a trip to Hawaii!!! And flat screen TV, a camera, $100 dollars for best choreography! We were all crying and freaking out, it was one of the best nights ever. Even though we did not get home til 1:00 it was a blast.
Congratulations to Shelby for winning best dance crew, and Tanesha for being in the finals!

COMPETITION AT SKYLINE HIGH SCHOOL

Hi everyone we are just waiting for our Competition times, we will receive them Wed.
This competition is going to be very large, it might be a late one:( I'm sending home wristbands this week, they are adorable bracelets. But they could fall off easily. I DON'T HAVE EXTRAS!!!

We are doing an extra dance for the recital and they will need to put a little costume together. You can use anything that you already own. Or you can get something new if you like. The girls can design there own, but they need to be RED, BLACK, WHITE, ONLY! Every class is in this dance.
RECITAL HUNTER HIGH SCHOOL June 1st dress rehearsal 6-7:30 be there @ 5:45 don't be late. Recital June 2nd 6-7:30 be there at 5:15 completely ready!!!!

EXTRA PRACTICE

Reminder of practice this Fri. and Sat. both at Kearns Rec Center. Fri. practice is at 5:30-8:30 for only Sr. Co. and Sr. Elite and Sat 4:00-8:00 for Junior Co. Jr. Elite, Extreme Elite, Sr. Co. and Senior Elite. Wear all black, and if you have not pd $15 for rental it is due on Sat.

Also Senior Elite does not come next Thurs. I will already be in St. George. Come on Wed. from 4:30-9:30. Practice everyday!!!!!!!!!! I will post Comp times next week:)

So excited for are 1st Comp. and WARM St. George. I will be staying in the Windgate by Wyndham if any girls are staying somewhere without a pool, they are welcome to come swim.

MAKEUP I will be sending home a list of makeup you need to buy on Sat.

EXTRA PRACTICE

Extra practice this fri. @ Kearns rec. This practice is only for Sr. Co. and Sr. Elite. This practice is MANDATORY. $15 due @ practice, this money is for the rental. The practice is from 5:30-8:30 Thanks.

>Hi everyone, Competitions are quickly approaching. Your daughters should be practicing!!! I'm very dissapointed in the lack there of. Your daughter should be doing splits every night if she does not have these I'm very frustrated, because we do them every week! If your daughter cannot do the dance at home with the music you need to come and record the dances and let her practice. I know life is very busy but please find the time:)

March 7th Competition has been canceled due to lack of participation:( We will be doing all dances at St. George Yay! I booked an extra 2 rooms for the St. George Comp. If you want one we are staying at the Days Inn 150 N 1000E 1-435-673-6723. I called 7 Hotels all were completly booked. They have a few rooms left call A.S.A.P. It's not the nicest but all the nice ones were booked! I need to know by Fri. Feb 27th who will not be attending the St. George Comp. April 2 & 3 solos Fri groups need to be there Sat. Thanks I will post next week!!!

There has been some changes in Comp. dates for the Jr. Co.

We are doing a special dance for Senior Co. and Kaitlin Bruderer, Marlee Bruderer, Hailey Knight, Alyssa Bagley, Abbi Lidell, Shelby Silver. If you are not interested let me know. This dance will cost $60 extra $30 for comp fees, $30 for costume. These girls will need to be at all Sat. practice and need to come every Wed. in Feb and March to learn the routine. Wed they need to be there from 4:30-6:30. It will be adarling routine, and a good chance for all the girls that age to do a dance with one another.

If I do not recieve moneys due by Fri Feb 6th I'm sorry but your daughter can not do comp.or even come to dance class until paid in full.

FINAL INSTALLMENT DUE

Final Installment due Jan 16th $135. Please get your payments and tuition on time I will add a late fee.

A.S.A.P. some of the deadlines are close! You can do as many solo comp. as you wish, I will come to as many as possible. You are in charge of registration, bringing your own music, and being with your daughter during comp, and awards! I will post the picturea I promised I can't post them without my husband, Hopefully we will have time tonight.
